Change & Implementation Analyst.
Location – London / Remote Working
Rate – 400 to 500 / Day PAYE or 513 to 641 / Day Umbrella

The purpose of the Change and Implementation Analyst is to support our Global Business and Functions change programmes, to successfully define, deliver and embed that change, helping HSBC achieve its strategic goals in the relevant global markets. The role is instrumental in supporting the business to achieve benefits realization and returns on their change investments, ensuring that our significant change programmes are considering all change aspects which will lead to a smooth implementation and transition to BAU. This will include identifying and mitigating key change and implementation risks and helping identify opportunities for early realisations of benefits.
- Build and sustain trusting relationships with internal customers by consistently delivering value add services
- Work with the Global C&I, programme team and sponsor to ensure Change and Implementation is embedded within that programme.
- Bring a focus to the programme on business outcomes and benefits management (including benefits realisation).
- Develop change solution and designs/options that are focused on successful change embedding into the business.
- Influence and manage global/regional stakeholders and sponsor relationships in leading the change and achieving the benefits.
- Facilitate stakeholders through decisions, consulting them, influencing them and by resolving conflicts and disagreement etc.
- Appeal to customer’s viewpoint in order to understand and deliver the most beneficial solutions
- Promote a cultural mind-shift to including C&I as a key success factor in achieving sustainable business outcomes.
- Ensure that audience (including Customers) change impacts and reactions are analysed and change interventions identified to manage those impacts and reactions across all areas (countries).
- Use customer knowledge and expertise to help confirm change management solutions.
- Encourage and facilitate open and honest debate with tact and integrity, even where sensitive issues are involved
- Anticipate issues and risks and address them quickly, with an understanding of the critical path.
- Provide timely reports on engagement status, risks and issues, evaluating performance based on management information.
- Work across global and regional teams to ensure commonality of understanding of the C&I value proposition and its role in delivering sustainable business outcomes.
- Ensure that assignments are delivered using the appropriate technologies and tools including Group standards.
- Contributing to enhancing Transformation methods, tools and standards, in particular the Change and Implementation Framework.
- Support in definition of programme strategy and develops a roadmap ensuring all constraints of time/resources/regulations are met, and support programmes in identifying sufficient C&I effort and resources.
- Ensure mechanisms are in place for capturing and sharing lessons leant and encourage re-use of successful C&I tools and methods.
- Contribute to the active management and rationalization of the global business’s change portfolio, ensuring prioritization is based on benefits realisation and minimizing disruption to the business.
- Ensure that programmes produce well defined C&I approaches and programmes plans with C&I tollgates, set clear milestones an assigned resources.
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
- Strong publishing skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to develop basic Excel formula
- Ability to make instructional WebEx recordings
- Confidence with the language of technology and system development
- Can proactively question and be positive in challenging stakeholders to ensure technical solutions are ready for training
- Ability to interpret how/where technical changes will create real life learning impacts for the end user
- Experience of training design for systems and process
- Knowledge and practical application of training theory
- Ability to stay calm and have patience with global stakeholders (sponsors, business stakeholders, global training teams, project and IT teams); being able to communicate with clarity (especially where English is not the first language)
- Accredited PCI / PROSCI or APM change practitioner is desirable
- Business Consultancy experience (Big 4) in implementing large change programmes
- Industry experience in implementing global change programmes
