The company is a well known, recognised leading brand in their market and this is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to join a market leading business. The Senior ReactJS Developer (Contractor) will be responsible for the progression and delivery of changes to the public website. The role will involve translation of designs and business requirements, into fully functional solutions through efficient, high quality development. Day to Day • Complete design and development work using ReactJS. • Regularly liaise with internal teams to review requirements. • Liaise with Testing team to support defect resolution. • Ensure daily development deadlines are met/exceeded. • Ensure development work is completed using modern trends/techniques. • Support and drive innovation to drive the business forward. Essential Experience • HTML5 and CSS3 / SASS. • Developing user interfaces using ReactJS. • Unit Testing Javascript, taking a TDD approach. • Using GIT for version control. • Front-end Development using Bootstrap. • Experience with Gulp.js or Webpack Desirable Experience • Use of MVC PHP frameworks, preferably Laravel 5. Person Requirements • Strong coding and problem solving skills. • Strong communication, organization and time management skills. • Ability to work as part of a team and deliver to deadlines. • Knowledge of best practice usability approach. • Ability to accurately translate visual designs into working solutions. • Familiarity with secure coding techniques.
