Role: Fidessa Server Developer Location: London Contract: 6 Months We are currently looking for a Fidessa Server Developer on behalf of a large financial services client of ours based in London to join their High Touch Trading Technology team. The High Touch Trading Technology team support the Cash Equity business in the Global Markets and Investment Banking Group. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be a full time development team member looking to expand knowledge in Equity Capital Market Technologies by providing development and second line support and product development. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a strong team and be trained and supported in building on their technical knowledge and the cash equities business. Essential Programming: • Programming experience within the IT Sector. • Fidessa experience including experience in the following products: EMMA, OMAR, TMAR, PMAC, FDA, FIX, FEC, CTAC, FTW. • Good knowledge of TCL. • Good knowledge of FIX. • Experience of working within Equity Capital Markets. • Experience with relational databases: E.g. Sybase, Oracle • Operating Systems: Unix and Windows • Programming experience in C and/or Java on Unix, C# • Messaging : EMS, MQ
