PURPOSE:
My client who is a leading Financial Services Company seek a Project Manager and Business / Technical analyst for their Financial Crimes Compliance Technology department, located in London. This is a technology based role which is close to the business in support of AML/Fraud and Economics Sanctions.
The analysis and development teams for Global Financial Crimes Compliance Technology (GFCT) systems are mostly based in the India and the US. The candidates will represent GFCT for International and provide as primary support to our Global Financial Crimes Compliance (GFCC) business partners and case investigations team and service any queries, issues or regional audit/regulatory requests.
They will work as Project Manager / Business and Technical Analyst on priority projects and regulatory mandates which involve full project lifecycle of detailed requirements gathering, analysis, collating technical design/solutions, co-ordinating for development/build activities with other technology teams in other countries and implementation. Tracking and reporting for all deliverables against target dates to Senior Management and escalating for any issues or resource challenges.
DEPARTMENT SUMMARY:
The candidate will be part of the Global Financial Crimes Technology which comes under LCRRT (Legal, Compliance and Regulatory Relations Technology) which supports many Applications and provides IT solutions to our business partners in Global Financial Crimes Compliance (GFCC) for Anti-Money Laundering, Fraud, and Economics Sanctions across 50+ jurisdictions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The candidate to be hired will need to be a self-starter and able to work independently. Excellent Project Management, Business / Technical analytical and communication skills are essential. Key responsibilities include identifying and keeping track of issues, defining and recommending new requirements as well as building relationships with business and technology partners across the Globe. Candidate must have the flexibility to deal with teams spread across all 3 times zones (Asia, EMEA & US).
You will be responsible for:
• Leading the Project Management and Business/Technical analysis for the priority projects and enhancements – full lifecycle.
• Requirements gathering with LOB users for tactical and strategic solutions
• Create technical (e.g., design/mapping) specifications
• Involvement in development and testing of tactical and strategic solutions. Develop test plans, test cases and scripts for system and UAT. Proactively anticipate, identify and resolve issues or bugs in the development code and co-ordinate for QA/UAT testing.
• Co-ordination of activities with India-based developers and QA teams.
• Respond to regional queries, issues and audit/regulatory requests. Effectively manage and escalate local issues.
• Support and involvement in Technology projects or audit and regulatory requests for AML/Fraud/Economics Sanctions which have International impacts.
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
• Proven Project Management / Business and Technical Analyst skills and track record of solution delivery.
• Also highly desirable is experience in Front Office businesses (Global Banking and Markets Broker Dealer – Institutional / Global Wealth Management - Retail) and associated financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives) and the trade / settlement lifecycle.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills for all interactions with Business and Technology partners.
• Experienced with gathering user requirements and analysing technical documentation.
• Desirable to have business knowledge in risk management, especially in Compliance/AML vendor tools like Mantas, SAS etc.
• Highly desirable to have experience with mainframe applications, Oracle, PL/SQL, TOAD, Terradata, Informatica, Autosys scheduling tool and Data-Warehousing
• Flexibility to attend evening meetings and conference calls with US based LOB and technology teams
