ROLE PURPOSE
Wealth and Personal Banking serves more than 50 million customers worldwide with a complete range of banking and wealth management services, enabling customers to manage their finances and protect and build their financial futures.
We’re building a new strategic digital business within HSBC Group, with the ambition to become a leading player in the global payments and FX market, supporting foreign currency and payment needs of internationally minded customers around the world.
The business will support a standalone global wallet and payments app, with a narrow proposition, but the breadth to reach 10 million customers internationally, accelerating our international ambition and extending HSBC’s global reach.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support MP business owners with all related Supplier and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) activities.
• Lead workstream to ‘Embed improvements’ in Supplier Management / TPRM Framework
• Improve Governance, Oversight & Controls for ‘Material’ Suppliers – delivery of audit actions
• Support implementation of NEW TPRM Tool
• Develop aggregated Supplier KRI / KPI Dashboard for reporting Third Party Risk to Leadership team
• Implement controls framework across Material Suppliers
• Support DORA readiness workstream
• Support the onboarding of Suppliers in accordance with Procurement process including risk assessment, facilitate due diligence (where appropriate) and ensure all necessary approvals are in in place for contract award.
• Manage Marco Polo’s relationships with its third-party vendors (90+) and partners, overseeing a spend of >USD20.0M per year
• Responsible for ensuring that appropriate controls are in place and risks are actively managed relating to third parties in accordance with Regulatory obligations
• Develop Third Party Risk processes, tools and systems to ensure effective management & reporting of Supplier data
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
• 8yrs+ years’ experience in Supplier or Third-Party Risk Management roles
• Understanding of Third-Party Risk and Regulatory requirements in Finance sector
• Experience of implementing Third Party Risk Management Frameworks
• Experience of Third Party Risk Tools & Reporting
• Proven execution capabilities with a specific focus around developing and implementing strategic programs
• Experience presenting to senior internal stakeholders (e.g. Group WPB CEO, Group COO, Group CFO, Board of Directors etc.)
• Possess a high level of credibility when dealing with external third parties
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to address large audiences and present to senior stakeholders
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership to drive business change
• Self-starter with an agile approach, who can work well independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to think innovatively, shaping and communicating new concepts
• Calm under pressure, with the tenacity and resilience to deal with various business demands during periods of high workload and tight deadlines
• Ability to manage work across multiple priorities, with flexibility to re-prioritise work at short notice
